Bridled horse prancing left, with loose reins / EPI - XOP - HΓ - O around square linear frame enclosing vine with four grapes-clusters; in left field, fly, all within linear square. SNG Copenhagen 606. E. Schönert-Geiss, Die Münzprägung von Maroneia, 439. Struck in sound metal from obverse from a die of powerful style, with a vigorous horse. A few minor mineralized deposits on bright surfaces.
