PONTIC KINGDOM. Time of Mithradates VI (120-63 BC). AV stater (20mm, 8.31 gm, 12h). NGC MS 5/5 - 4/5, light scratches. Tomis, in name and types of Lysimachus of Thrace, 88-86 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great right, with horn of Ammon / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY, Athena seated left, elbow resting on shield, holding Nike; ΘΕΜ under left arm, TO below throne, filleted trident in exergue. De Callataÿ p. 141, dies D4/R2. AMNG I 2480. Some reverse doubling, a few very slight scratches, otherwise well centered and struck from a relatively fresh die.
