PERGAMENE KINGDOM. Eumenes I (263-241 BC). AR tetradrachm (28mm, 17.01 gm, 1h). NGC AU★ 5/5 - 4/5, Fine Style. Pergamum, ca. 255-241 BC. Laureate head of Philetaerus right / ΦΙΛΕΤΑΙΡΟY, Athena enthroned left, holding wreath and leaning on shield; A to left, ivy leaf in inner left field. Westermark Group IIII/IV hybrid. Cf. SNG France 1610-5 (controls placement reversed). Extremely rare variety. Lightly toned, with an impressive, high-relief portrait.
