AVGVSTVS DIVI · F, bare head of Augustus right / IMP - ·X across field, ACT in exergue, Apollo Citharoedus of Actium, standing facing, head left, holding plectrum in right hand and lyre in left. RIC 171a. RSC 144. Rare and seldom seen in such high grade! Well struck in good metal, with lovely light golden toning in recesses.
