D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust of Theodosius facing, head slightly right, holding spear over left shoulder and shield with horseman motif on right arm / GLOR ORVI-S TERRAR, Theodosius standing facing in military dress, holding labarum in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left; in field to left, star, TESOB in exergue. RIC X, 365. Depeyrot 51/1. A beautiful example, crisply struck and lustrous, displaying many details usually not seen on this scarce type.
