Constantinople, 3rd officina, AD 661-663. σN CONS-TAN CCI, crowned facing busts of Constans, bearded, and Constantine IV, beardless, crown of Constans surmounted by plume; cross above / VICTORIA AVGЧ, cross potent on steps; Heraclius, holding long cross, and Tiberius, holding globus cruciger, standing facing on either side, Γ//CONOB in exergue. Sear 964. DOC 30c. A superb piece, well struck on a broad flan, with mirror-like fields.
