Franz Joseph I "Vienna Shooting Festival" 2 Florin 1873 MS63 NGC, KMX-M4. Struck to commemorate the Vienna Shooting Festival, this medallic coinage has remarkable detail produced from a sharp strike with notable prooflike surfaces. The patina is primarily gunmetal-gray and displays electric colors of magenta, tangerine, champagne with hints of blue mixed within the fields. A similar example that was sold at Baldwin's in May 2014, and was part of the Ake Linden Collection, hammered for £1900. To date this is the finest and only example graded by NGC.
