Franz Joseph I silver Specimen Medal 1854 SP62 PCGS, by Konrad Lange, 55mm, Wurz-2709, Hauser-297. Struck on the marriage of Franz Joseph to Elizabeth of Bavaria in April of 1854, this is a beautifully produced medal, with very pronounced relief on the obverse and amazing detail struck up in the reverse wedding scene. A couple of light scratches in the left obverse field prevent this piece from attaining a higher technical grade, but it is quite scarce in silver and desirable thus.
