Republic gold 24 Livres 1793-A AU55 NGC, Paris mint, KM626.1. A scarce small-size gold issue from the First Republic. A number of adjustment marks are noted in the in the center of the obverse, but they don't adversely affect the technical grade of this piece. Slightly unevenly struck, with some striking weakness noted at 4:00 on the obverse, with a corresponding particularly strong strike at 10:00. Pleasant russet toning throughout.
