Napoleon III gold 50 Francs 1868-BB MS62 NGC, Strasbourg mint, KM804.2, Fr-583. Mintage; 1,795. The final year of this issue struck at the Strasbourg mint, asserting the smallest mintage figure for the series, and showing handsomely toned surfaces that retain an ample amount of brightness. Evidence of typical handling is noted across both sides, but is fairly common for the type and rather subtle for the grade. Rarely-seen so fine, currently eclipsed by only four examples certified at both NGC and PCGS.
