Napoleon III gold 100 Francs 1864-A MS61 NGC, Paris mint, KM802.1. An attractive Mint-State example of this short-lived type that features the laureate head of Napoleon III. As is usual for this issue, minimal handling marks are observed throughout both sides, however, classic apricot-gold coloration and bold detail across the design features immediately attract the eye. Conditionally scarce and a pleasing representative as such.
