Hohenlohe-Neuenstein-Weikersheim. Karl Ludwig Pattern Taler 1752 MS63 NGC, KM-Pn3, Albrecht 150, silver striking of the gold 8 Ducat on the 50th year of the reign of Karl Ludwig. This piece was probably a presentation issue given to dignitaries at the Jubilee celebrations. Obv. Half-length armored bust right. Rev. Seven-line inscription in cartouche. Argent-gray and russet patina over minimally marked surfaces, The strike is bold, with very high obverse relief, lustrous surfaces, and prooflike fields. An exceptional Mint State example of this scarce presentation issue.
