Landau. Free City 1 Florin 4 Kreuzer 1713 AU58 NGC, Landau mint (under siege), KM12, Klein/Raff-221.1a. Struck from cut plate, as nearly all siege issues of Central Europe from this period, this example is amazingly preserved with just traces of wear along the highest points of the engraving. Bright luster is noted throughout the stamped fields and all of the major devices that made it on flan are clearly struck up.
