Saxony. Friedrich August I gold 10 Taler (2 August d'or) 1817-IGS MS62 PCGS, Dresden mint, KM1055, Fr-2882. Extremely lustrous, near-choice surfaces highlight this pleasing and popular type, one which is rarely encountered in the marketplace, especially in a grade such as this. Some lightly scattered hairlines are commensurate with the grade, and do not detract from its beauty. A small spot on the reverse above the crown is noted, but is in fact a small ball of fuzz on top of the coin's surface and not actually in or damaging the surfaces at all.
