Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. Ernst I Taler 1827 MS62 PCGS, KM16, J-250. Seldom seen at any level, and particularly scarce in Mint State, this broad Taler features the bust of Ernst I with crossed sword and mace. A few planchet flaws are noted, but do little to detract from the overall eye appeal of this handsomely toned offering. Complete with russet and teal hues that touch the designs and illuminate upon rotation.
