Edward III (1327-1377) gold 1/2 Noble 1356-1361 MS61 NGC, London mint, Cross 3 mm, S-1494, N-1186. Crowned king with sword and shield standing facing in ship, annulet stops in titles / Floriate cross with closed "Є" in central quadrilobe. A scarce type in any grade, much more so in Mint State, the present offering retaining much luster and fairly well-struck for the type on a typically smallish flan.
