Elizabeth I (1558-1603) gold 1/2 Crown 1594-1596 AU58 PCGS, London mint, Sixth issue of 1583-1600, Woolpack mm, S-2537, N-2011. A rare piece, bright and well-centered, albeit on a flan with some raggedness to the edges. The obverse is lightly doubled and the reverse mintmark has ghosted into the obverse legend. A few tiny scratches are noted on the obverse, but have little impact on the eye-appeal.
