George III bronzed-copper Proof "Cartwheel" 2 Pence 1797-SOHO PR64 Brown NGC, Soho mint, KM619, S-3776, Peck-1068 (VS). Late Soho issue. Fairly even in appearance with delicate reflectivity in the fields and bold pronounced detail throughout. Given its heft, and the accompanying tendency to acquire marks and rim knocks as a result, an issue that is constantly sought in high grade as the present piece.
