George III Bank of England Counterstamped Dollar ND (1797-99) MS63 NGC, S-3765A, ESC-1851. Countermark on 1795 S-CN Spanish 8 Reales. Very rare quality for the issue, the miniature oval stamp of George III having been boldly applied upon an exceptionally preserved host coin of Charles IV of Spain, the surfaces exhibiting minimal tone with sparkling luster and few marks. The single finest graded example of the type that NGC has graded on this Spanish host and definitely a candidate for the nicest example we've seen on any host.
