George VI gold Proof 2 Pounds 1937 PR66 NGC, Royal mint, KM860, S-4075. Technically superb quality for the issue with vivid orange-gold coloration over both sides and nary a visible instance of handling. Interestingly, close inspection reveals several light instances of granularity on George VI's portrait, which suggest this piece was made late in 1937 towards the end of proof set production.
