British India. East India Company - William IV 1/2 Rupee 1835.-(c) MS64 PCGS, KM449.3. 'F' Incuse on Bust. Rare quality for the issue with silver-gray color in the centers and light golden accents at the edges. We sold a similar near-Gem example of KM449.4 (with 'RS" incuse and a catalog value of only $100 more) for $4,817.50 in December of 2013. As recently as March 2015, that coin has received another offer through our MOTO program ( ADD HYPERLINK allows clients to submit confidential purchase offers for items previously sold at auction) for $6,400. We expect similar enthusiasm for this piece.
