Republic 8 Reales 1861 Ho-FM XF45 NGC, Hermosillo mint, KM377.9, DP-Ho01 ("Extremely Rare"). Variety with normal punches in date – narrow "H" in mintmark. Choice Extremely Fine with partial underlying luster and a tad weakly struck in the legends - as usual per DP. A very rare date/combination and one of the most iconic issues of the entire Cap and Rays series - DP rightly comments: "an extremely rare coin... highly sought after for its beauty and importance ... one of the stars of the series" -, highly desirable as such, especially in this pleasant quality.
