MON | AVR • CIVI • CAMPEN VALO • | FLAN •, king standing in ship facing, holding sword and shield, a flag at the stern / • NISI • DOMINVS • SERVAVERIT • CIVITATEM • FRVSTRA, cross fleurée with lions passant and crowns in angles. A rare offering, especially in this stunning preservation. Although the flan is typically crude and there are a few small areas of weakness, the overall quality of the strike is outstanding, particularly in the centers. The surfaces exhibit bright mint luster and highlight the details of the engraving nicely.
