Palo Seco. Leper Colony Token 50 Centesimos ND (1919) XF45 NGC, Philadelphia mint, KM-Tn5, MGM-704. With less than 15 specimens known, this piece represents another key to the popular leprosarium series. Superior to the two McFadden specimens which we have sold (both XF40 NGC), the better of which realized a hammer of $5,500 in our 2014 CICF auction, sale 3032, lot 25592.
