Ferdinand VI Pillar 8 Reales 1754/3 LM-JD MS62 NGC, Lima mint, KM55.1. The crowned globes are impressively crisp with surrounding semi-prooflike fields, while the other side contains more satiny luster. Several dark spots from environmental exposure perhaps prevent an even finer grade. The overdate is listed as much better in the Standard Catalog of World Coins with a catalog of $1,000 in XF compared to $500 for a common example of the type.
Estimate: 2000-2500 USD
