USA Administration Proof Peso 1908 PR66 PCGS, Philadelphia mint, KM172. Proof mintage: 500. Fully sublime, presenting surfaces mottled with various tones of slate-blue and gray, and a considerable amount of reflectivity emanating from below the color. Throughout both sides the strike remains impressive, with full facial details noted on the flowing-haired female, as well as individual feather detail across the reverse eagle design. As such, it seems rather improbable that a finer Proof example exists with this powerful combination of elite technical quality and visual allure.
