Carol I silver Obverse Trial Matte Proof Pattern 5 Lei ND (1906) PR63 NGC, Brussels mint, Stamb-059-1.1. By A. Michaux. Moderate gray colored with granularity typical of the issue on both sides. A small area of what appears to be corrosion appears on the reverse, and some iridescence (not as apparent as is the accompanying image) is observed when inspected beneath a light. Undoubtedly very rare as a type.
