Peter I Poltina (1/2 Rouble) 1725 XF Details (Excessive Surface Hairlines) NGC, Red mint, KM159, Bitkin-1078, Diakov-8. Obv. Laureate and armored bust right. Rev. Crowned imperial double eagle facing, holding scepter and orb; crown above. Lightly toned, with some scattered cleaning marks, but nothing nearly as strong as would be indicated by the details holder. A very distinctive die crack on the reverse is noted, but nevertheless remains a pleasing example of the type.
