Peter I silver "Death" Medal 1725 AU58 PCGS, copy by S. Yudin, Diakov-63.4 (R2), 53mm. Commemorating the death of Peter I on January 28, 1725. PCGS has listed this medal as Diakov-63.5 on the holder, but it is actually Diakov-63.4. Obv. Laureate, armored, and mantled bust of Peter I right. Rev. Peter I carried into the heavens by Eternity, with crowned Russia sitting on the seashore. A boldly struck and superbly engraved high-relief piece, with light marks, reflective fields, and light golden toning. Very rare in silver and the first we have seen.
