Alexander I Rouble 1808 СПБ-МК MS64 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, KM-C125a, Bit-72. One of the finest extant of this scarcer Rouble type with light silvery toning and scintillating underlying luster. The Bolton steam coin press was delivered to the St. Petersburg mint in 1807, and this coin is an exemplary representation of the new superior minting technology. A faded accession number "6" is inked in the upper obverse field with some light marks around it, nonetheless a coin for the finest of collections.
