Republic gold "Double Shaft" Pond 1892 MS63 PCGS, Berlin mint, KM10.1, Hern-Z44. A Choice example of this first year of issue, fully lustrous with exquisite reddish tone clinging to the devices. A scattering of minuscule contact marks limit the grade, but the larger marks upon inspection are light patination or perhaps residue. Wholly original and very scarce in this outstanding quality.
