Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1811 C-CI AU55 NGC, Cadiz mint, KM470, Fr-305, Onza-1192. No Point Before HISP. A rare and desirable issue from the Cadiz mint, and while we've offered several examples in the AU55 grade in the past (and none finer than that), this is clearly the nicest of those offering, with lustrous surfaces that display limited porosity, a strong strike and no major planchet flaws (all unusual characteristics). As such, sure to be heavily sought by type collectors.
