Highly coveted as a key date for the issue, with instances of golden tone over mostly white surfaces and fields that showcase vibrant luster. It's been over five years since our last offering of this date, with that example, an NGC-graded XF45, selling for $4,887.50 in our September 2011 auction. While a few more pieces of the date have come to market since that time, few have been Mint State, and as a result, we expect great enthusiasm for this condition rarity.
