Muhammad al-Sadiq Bey gold 25 Piastres AH 1298 (1881) MS65 PCGS, KM200, Fr-5, Lec-58. A dazzling Gem of the date, displaying a full strike and choice surfaces that are nearly entirely absent previous forms of handling. Struck over a Strasbourg mint 20 Francs with the 186_ digits and the "BB" mintmark remaining faintly visible below the lower right side of the obverse wreath. Formerly graded MS66 by PCGS and hammering for 2600 CHF in Maison Palombo Auction 11 (11/2012).
