João V gold 10000 Reis 1727-M MS62 NGC, Villa Rica mint, KM116, LMB-O247. A better date for this four-year issue, with bold dentilation at the edges, a sharp central strike and luxurious orange-gold color on both sides that fills the lustrous fields. As is typical of the type, several diagonal planchet adjustments are seen running across the reverse cross, but seeing as how these are remnants of the unstruck flan, they are certainly within the allowances for the grade.
