Jose I gold 6400 Reis 1758-B MS66+ NGC, Bahia mint, KM172.1, LMB-O388. An immaculate, fully "fresh" premium Gem with original mint bloom that totally envelopes the surfaces and fields that are void of any noticeable marks. The strike also befits the lofty grade, as Jose's hair curls are boldly rounded and the peripheral dentilation remains sharply segmented; truly an amazing feat for a Bahia mint issue. The single finest example graded for the date at either NGC or PCGS and perhaps the finest extant example from a small discovery group of high-end 6400s that came to market in the last decade.
