Tibet. Theocracy gold 20 Srang BE15-54 (1920) MS67 NGC, Ser-Khang mint, KM-Y22, Fr-1. With dot in center of central circle. A handsome example of this only Tibetan type struck in gold, showing a honey-tinged flan that hosts near-flawless fields and a superior strike observed on both sides. Upon closer inspection, the viewer experiences full-bodied luster that easily meanders the surfaces, as well as strong rims that halo an otherwise delicate-looking planchet. Currently the single-finest specimen certified in this near-pristine technical quality, and likely to elicit strong interest from collectors of this popular region.
