Republic gold Proof 5 Pesos 1915 PR66 Cameo NGC, Philadelphia mint, KM19, Fr-4. Mintage: 50. One of the finest survivors of this gold proof denomination, cloaked in vibrant canary-yellow tone with stark cameo-producing frost atop the raised surfaces and peerless mirrored fields that result from surfaces that are essentially absent all forms of handling. Currently unsurpassed in technical grade at either NGC or PCGS, with only a single "Ultra Cameo" graded at the PR66 level at NGC. That said, it's hard to imagine a more attractive example of this issue exists, and as such, we expect fierce competition for the right to own this outrageous premium Gem.
