Fuad gold Proof 500 Piastres AH 1351 (1932) PR65 NGC, KM355, Fr-31. Among an elite group of like-certified examples in this top designation, this ever-popular gold issue features the stately bust of Fuad I and a beautifully styled reverse inscription, all fully bold due to a precise strike. The glossy surfaces are outstanding--brimming with full flash that brightens the marigold surfaces, cascading over the raised elements, and settling in the deep, jet-black mirrors. According to the SCWC, Mint records did not indicate any proof strikings for this date; however, those that were minted early-on in the process contain the hallmarks of a Proof. As such, this near-pristine selection completely delights, and is presently in an unsurpassed certified technical quality.
