Napoleon "100 Days" 2 Francs 1815-A MS65 NGC, Paris mint, KM703. Combining a superior strike with a planchet that is beautifully saturated, showing hues of honeydew atop the Emperor's portrait and a nearly-perfect ring of fuchsia that encircles the legend. The reverse presents the same hues in much darker fashion, with a blend of the aforementioned colors observed, now including the addition of gold. A few contact marks are noted on Napoleon's effigy, and while they ultimately limit the grade, they appear to fold easily into the surrounding tone. A prized example of this "100 Days" issue, highly collectible at all levels, but particulary rare when encountered so choice.
