Baden. Karl Leopold Friedrich "Baden Mines Blessing" Taler 1836 MS66+ NGC, KM204, Dav-522. One-year type. Superb quality for this commemorative issue that is fully struck over both sides and features an attractive rendering of a crowned griffin holding a mining shield on the reverse. About as close to as-made as one is bound to find for this issue, with coruscating luster that radiates the mark-free fields and attractive amber and bluish tone that highlights portions of the peripheral legends. As the single finest example graded at NGC or PCGS, a coin that deserves significant bidder attention.
Estimate: 2500-3500 USD
