Baden. Friedrich I gold 10 Mark 1872-G MS67 NGC, Karlsruhe mint, KM260. The first year from this fleeting series, with heavily drenched, satin-coated surfaces toned to a stunning saffron-gold and mint luster that effortlessly cartwheels across both sides. Closer inspection reveals open fields that are virtually flawless, as well as needle-sharp definition noted throughout the raised features. An altogether superior representative of the type, in a certified technical class of its own, and visually sublime to boot.
