Bavaria. Karl Theodor Taler 1792-CD MS64 Prooflike NGC, KM607, Dav-1973. A fine example of this Vicariat issue, with mauve and golden iridescence across both sides and glowing fields that confirm the prooflike status. Instances of a soft strike are noted throughout and mild adjustment marks are observed atop the reverse motif--a combination of which likely precludes the Gem designation. Even so, for a type that is seldom encountered, this choice Mint State Taler is sure to please.
