Saxony. Friedrich August I Taler 1822-IGS MS65 Prooflike NGC, Dresden mint, KM1091. A glistening Gem with dove-gray surfaces and attractive champagne luster that illuminates the reflective fields. Both sides present a firmly executed strike, which renders crisp, needle-like definition across the designs. Mild chatter in the mirrors does little to affect the pleasing nature of this offering, and as such, a well-preserved representative of this Convention Taler issue.
