Emilia. Vittorio Emanuele II 5 Lire 1860-B MS65 NGC, Bologna mint, KM13, Pag-432. A scarce issue from the region of Emilia located in northern Italy, presenting an incredibly precise strike that renders the portrait of the King, along with the crowned shield of Savoy, fully bold and surrounded by glinting golden tones. The aid of magnification further confirms the immaculate quality of this crown, as the facial features of the King and the styled reverse wreath motif are crisp all the way to the edges. Entrancing reflectivity encircles the central motifs and extends towards the rims rather nicely, and as such, the addition of a prooflike label seems rather fitting. Very much a nonpareil at this level, and deserving of a premium as such.
