Venice. Giovanni Corner I 140 Soldi (Scudo) ND (1627)-GP MS64 NGC, KM143, Dav-4244, Paolucci-9. Amazingly preserved with shimmering luster over both sides and only the faintest instances of past handling that are limited to magnified viewing. A touch of doubling is observed over the shield and St. Mark's lion, and minor softness is seen in the peripheral lettering. The only Mint State example of the issue we've seen, and as a near-Gem, an immensely impressive relic of the period.
Estimate: 1500-2500 USD
