An exceptional example of this singular type that features the Lion of St. Mark impeccably struck to the highest points, rendering the animal's facial features and body in lifelike fashion. A quick rotation of the hand produces an incredible amount of original luster that sweeps the reflective fields, brightening the designs in the process, and other than the presence of die-polish lines, the expanses retain a fresh appearance that is commensurate with the grade level. Very much a rarity in this certified designation, and likely to command great attention from the collectors of this popular revolutionary republic.
