An outstanding issue that presents the stately bust of Vittorio Emanuele III with deeply patinated surfaces that are dressed in satin and artistically portrayed designs that are rendered up the highest points. Of particular interest is the reverse which depicts the Quadriga--a chariot drawn by four horses, driven by an allegorical female figure, usually Fame or Victory--symbolizing triumph and success; while "PROVA" is simply stamped above, confirming the Pattern strike.
