Carl XV 1/2 Speciedaler 1862 MS65 NGC, Kongsberg mint, KM322, Ahlstrom-9. Layered in what appears to old envelope toning, with a mixture of tan coloration in the fields and subtle rose, green, blue and gold patina along the outer edges. Satiny underlying surfaces that hold few instances of contact confirm the elite grade. Essentially the only collectible date of this short-lived type and as one of the finest survivors of the date, sure to excite the collector.
