Philip III gold 2 Escudos 1610 (Aqueduct)-C MS66 NGC, Segovia mint, KM30, Cal-25. A coin that is essentially without equal, for all intents and purposes appearing just as it did the very day it was made in 1610, with a strike that was meticulously rendered by the roller press it was coined on and absolutely no visible instances of contact over the surfaces. In the fields, sparkling luster flickers about with the character of the dies, lightly striated, but still qualifying as satiny. The orange-golden tone and several small darker streaks on the reverse appear to truly be the only relics of its age. Undeniably one of the crown jewels of the phenomenal D. Moore Collection and befitting of the finest cabinet. A coin all but certain to bring enduring pleasure to its next owner!

Estimate: 25000-35000 USD
